Bachmann 32-550B Class A1 Locomotive, the Tornado Fitted with Sound

Here we have a Used Bachmann 32-550B BR E/E Peppercorn class A1 locomotive, the "Tornado", being offered for sale. Both the locomotive and tender are in mint condition, having been kept in a display cabinet in a smoke free household.

In fact the model is virtually as brand new and is only being listed as Used because it is pre-owned. But please see the photos for confirmation of the loco's as new condition. The locomotive and tender are both well detailed, and especially in the inner cab area of the locomotive - see photos. The locomotive is a 21 pin DCC Ready model in the BR green livery, that has been converted to Sound using a Hornby TTS sound decoder.

The DCC 21 pin pcb is situated in the tender with the usual 4 wire plug/socket connection to the locomotive. The locomotive's DCC address has been reset to the default 0003 address. But again please see the photos. Please note that this locomotive is currently a fully fitted DCC sound model and therefore will only operate to its full potential using a DCC controller. So please seek some technical advice if you are unsure about the DCC capabilities of your controller. All relevant paperwork is included. An unopened additional detailing pack, with an etched brass nameplate is also included. The locomotive ran perfectly and quietly, in both directions - as is to be expected from a virtually new model. Plus all the sound functions were tested and all performed as per the included Hornby sound instruction pamphlet.
