BACHMANN OO Gauge 32-425X 97201 BR Derby RTC Class 24 DCC SOUND Modelzone Ltd Ed

Here for sale is an OO gauge class 24, No. 97201 in BR Derby RTC (Rail Technical Centre) livery, manufactured by Bachmann (32-815RJ). This was a limited release produced for Modelzone and is number 217 of 512. Bought new back in 2011 for my ongoing layout project but I've since replaced it with a SLW version.

It's been used sparingly and is in great condition. I swapped the chassis for a factory DCC sound version, upgraded the speaker to a bass reflex item and had the chip reblown by Howes - I've added a quick video of the startup sequence, there are plenty of clips on YouTube to illustrate what it sounds like! I had to remove the fan in order to fit the larger speaker but it's included with the detailing parts so maybe with some fettling you could reinstate it. Comes with the box, sleeve, insert and instructions etc along with the Modelzone certificate and detailing pack.
