We are pleased to advise that our decoders (except Next18, PluX22 and XL) come with wiring pre-soldered for easier fixing of stay-alive / power pak components. To compliment these we are now offering the Train-O-Matic Smart Power Pack within your choice options. Fitting instructions are included in the package.

Wires need soldering and CVs need adjusting. If height is a limiting factor choose the SPP-N at circa 33 x 9.4 x 6.5 mm, (l x w x h), if length is the problem choose the SPP (normal) at circa 22 x 10 x 13.5 mm. We regret we cannot guarantee the Power Pack will fit in your loco with or without modification. V5 6 and 8 pin Micro Decoders are no longer suitable for direct wiring due to a change in the harness design. If you wish to do this please order the V5 Micro with wire connections or 8 pin normal size decoder and cut the supplied plug off.

PLEASE NOTE: We are now able to offer a decoder fitting service through a third party affiliate. Loksound V5 DCC Sound Decoder of Class 52 Diesel Loco.

Loksound 5 decoders have a 15mm x 11mm sugar cube speaker as standard and. Please also note that if you are considering using your own speaker then Loksound 4 & 5 decoders require it to be rated at around 4 - 8 Ohms. If your spare speaker came from a Loksound 3.5 then more than likely it will be rated at 50 or more Ohms, and as such will not produce much sound! If you wish to study the differences between available decoders and speakers, please check out the ESU website at.

Should you want to receive the sound on any other ESU Loksound Decoder not listed in the sale options this can be arranged, but there may be a despatch delay whilst these are sourced. We are proud to represent the sound of the iconic diesel hydraulic Class 52. We have really pushed the boundaries with this one.

Just like the real thing, this has two engines and both are independent! This means you can pick engine 1 or 2 on their own or operate them both to really produce that top Maybach thrash.

First press F1 or F7, the fire bell will ping as the battery isolating switch is put in. A second or two later, the primer will start. After about 20 seconds of priming, the Maybach engine will burst into life. Once the engine you have selected has started, if desired, choose the other engine and this will immediately burst into life as per the real thing. As per the real thing, when shutting down, you have to shut each engine down independently.

When you change direction, you will not be able to move off until the driver has signed into his desk and cancelled the aws. This sound project has been created to enable it to be driven and will respond to how you drive it. Drive it gently, it will rev up accordingly. Wind that power handle round, and the thrash will commence! Within this Class 52 project, an emergency brake has been incorporated.

Re over speed step 80, and you require to bring the locomotive to a stand very quickly, you will need to shut power off by rapidly returning the controller to 0. Ll hear the brakes dump and the model will quickly come to a stand. With this sound chip, it is highly recommended a bass reflex speaker is used to really get the maximum out of this project.

Reverse of the page will give you the function list and sound slot CV details. Please note, increasing the decoder volume may distort the sound due to Clipping. Should a decoder reset be required, please program CV8 to 8.

F7 Engine No2 23, 24 435, 433 128, 1. F11 Cab Doors 10 331 128.

F13 Flange Squeal 12 347 128. F14 Wagon Couplings 13 355 128. Please see the ESU booklet supplied with the decoder.
