Hornby R3030 BR Fowler Class 4F Loco 44592 DCC & Olivia's Sound & Lights Fitted

The model is BR late crest loco no 44 592. I have included a two minute video of this model running. There is a function range is F0.

I have upgraded the speaker to a 20 x 20 x 7 (8 ohm) Road & Rails mini megabase speaker which produces a good quality sound which is quite load as can be seen from the updated video. Lights work either direction when on. Traction tyres removed but in the box. The Hornby 4F mechanism can sometimes "lock" I have noticed this occasionally happens when running in reverse.

I have noticed the same thing even on the latest 2025 SD&JR Hornby F4. It seems to be a design fault.
