MTH 20-3370-2 O Gauge Stanier Duchess Pacific Class Proto-Sound 3.0 Fitted DCC

For sale is a MTH 20-3370-2 O Gauge 7MM Premier 4-6-2 Stanier Princess Coronation Class with Proto-Sound 3.0 Fitted DCC. This is the first time i have handled one of these Mikes Train House Models or MTH Trains as they are known and i have to say what a very impressive model indeed. A fantastic opportunity to own a superbly realistic O Gauge 7mm steam loco that is now out of production.

Last produced in 2012 in Limited Numbers. The model No 6233 in LMS Straw Lined Black has Correct as Preserved Etched Brass Duchess of Sutherland nameplates fitted and running with double chimmney.

As is was running in this guise on the Mainline between 2009 -14 it has the OHL warning flashes on the bodysides, again correct for its period of running in Preserved status. The Model has been test run only. As far as we can see there is no damage and everything appears to be complete. The model has been tested with both a Gaugemaster and Hornby DCC Digital controller and the model runs very nicely on both. As far as we know it is also designed to run on a DC Analogue system as well (As seen on Youtube).

Due to the complexity of the sound functions (see further down in the description) we were not able to figure out all of the functions but the main functions work and sound great and it will surprize many as its an Authentic Stanier 8P Sound chip with very realistic whistle and even Footplate Crew banter between stations. Sound Function No1 has the dredded American Bell Feature which you dont need to switch on but was added to The British Sound Function as this model Was Released to the US market , all other sound functions are British. We would love to give this a good blast but we are restricted to an 8ft section of track , This is a Mighty Powerful Loco with loads or torque and comes in at a whopping 6.5kg.

It is Fitted with the Finescale wheel Options and looks very realistic. The smoke function has also been tested and works.

Also has working Loco lamps. This model would be great if you want a high tech O gauge model and enjoy learning how to operate such a technically advanced model.

The loco has been set to DCC code 3 so it is ready to run. It has very good overall detailing, far better than the ACE offering but still not classed as Fine scale by many. Please study the photos and read the rest of the description to see the full model features.
